How Diplomatic Are We?

Last night both NDTV 24X7 & NDTV INDIA were holding debates where the anchor had to ultimately give up and ask for the cameras to be switched of.......so chaotic was the scenario on both the channels. While one was discussing honor killings and the validity of khap panchayats, the other was merely debating on how wrong 'Ravana' was or how right 'Rama' was.  It was a shame to see educated people standing in front of the camera on a national television and actually having the guts to say that if their values would be threatened, they could take the law in their hands. How long are we going to take before we give up being so egoistic? Come on, all of us know that what actually matters is the thought that I and I alone am right, anyone disagreeing with me is an insult to my authority---this is what has constitutes TALIBAN and TALIBAN-like KHAP panchayats. Please friends understand that your right to live ends where you threat the other;'s life/.........u disagree wid sm1........hate sm1.............bt hw cn u go n actually kill sm1 n still advocate ur actions AS JUSTIFIED IN AN EDUCATED AND CIVILISED society?

Bastar Bharat me nai Kya?

At least a fortnight earlier, I read the newspaper which said even the government has approved the exclusion of Bastar region from the national census. Are we really living in a democracy? We expect the naxalites to drop their arms and come forward to "TALK".........Kisse baat karne aaenge aur kiske bharose? us sarkaar ke jo unhe apni janta me shaamil nai karna chahti? If the naive villagers fall into the violent hands of the naxalites,isn't the administration far more responsible for this?
